Poor troll. Looks like he was turned to stone. Did he see the sun? Or was it something else? Can you devise another means of turning a troll to stone?

Maybe they’re not really helpless at this stage. Maybe they’re most dangerous when they’re stone. Maybe they only appear to be made of rock.
